About the Destination

Elephant Beach is the water sports capital of Havelock Island. Known for its shallow coral reefs, it is the prime location for snorkeling, glass-bottom boat tours, and sea walking. The beach got its name because elephants were historically walked here to help carry timber. Today, it offers a lively atmosphere with a wide array of activities. Visitors can also reach the beach via a beautiful 2 km forest trek through mangrove swamps.
